In der nächsten Phase des Projektes „Tastes of Danube: Bread. Wine. Herbs. – Geschmack der Donau: Brot. Wein. Kräuter“ möchten wir gerne den internationalen Kontakt unter uns stärken, somit starten wir eine neue Projektrunde mit Bezug zur Weihnachts- und Neujahrszeit. Wir rufen zum Mitmachen auf und würden uns über viele positive Rückmeldungen freuen! Für diejenigen, die mitmachen, gibt es eine kleine finanzielle Unterstützung zur Durchführung des Projekts.
Die Aktion „Weihnachtspäckchen entlang der Donau“ soll die Projektpartner gegenseitig über die landesspezifischen Bräuche zu Weihnachten und Neujahr und die Kultur der (Vor-) Weihnachtszeit informieren, aber auch zwischen einzelnen Gruppen einen direkten Kontakt schaffen. Das Päckchen soll ungefähr die Größe eines Schuhkartons haben und Weihnachtsgebäck („süßes Brot“), Rezept(e) für Weihnachtsgebäck, Beschreibung von Weihnachtsbräuchen und Informationen über die eigene Gruppe („wer sind wir“) in der Landesspreche und in Englisch beinhalten. Das liebevoll verpackte Päckchen soll drei Mal hergestellt und dann per Post an drei Partner aus drei verschiedenen Donauländern geschickt werden. Ein Bild vom Päckchen außen und dem Inhalt innen, die Rezepte und Beschreibung der Bräuche werden nach Ulm geschickt. Dort entsteht auf unserer Website ein virtueller Christbaum mit vielen Päckchen, wenn man sie öffnet, kann man den Inhalt sehen und die Informationen abrufen. Wenn Weihnachten bei einzelnen Partnergruppen aus religiösen Gründen nicht gefeiert wird, kann gerne ein Fest nach Wahl mit ähnlicher Bedeutung für die Teilnehmenden beschrieben bzw. in die Aktion eingebunden werden.

In the next phase of the Project Tastes of Danube: Bread. Wine. Herbs. we would like to promote international contacts and to start a new project round relating to Christmas and the New Year. We invite you to take part and hope to receive many positive responses! For those who will participate, a small sum will be provided for the implementation of the project.
Through the action Christmas Packages Along the Danube, the partners should mutually learn about the various Christmas and New Year customs specific for the various countries as well as the culture of the pre and post-Christmas times. A direct contact should take place between the individual groups. The package should be approximately of the size of a shoe box and contain Christmas cookies (sweet bread) and recipes, descriptions of Christmas customs and information about the own group (who we are) in the native language and in English. Prepared will be three nicely packed boxes, which will be sent per post to partners in three different Danube countries. A picture of the package outside and of the content inside will be sent additionally per mail to ILEU together with the recipes and the descriptions of the Christmas customs. Created in our website will be a virtual Christmas tree, to which the many packages will be attached. The packages can be opened and the pictures and the written information viewed. If for religious reasons in any of the groups Christmas is not celebrated, a different festival of a similar significance can be described together with the activities connected with it.
