„Tastes of Danube: Bread connects“
Organization of a Danube Bread-Baking Week autumn 2017 in all Danube countries (Work package 5)
Bread in this project is seen as basic food in all Danube countries, but bread shall not only have the role of a food product, it is also a symbol for community, sharing and responsibility for others.
In the frame of the project Tastes of Danube: Bread Connects, an international Bread-Baking-Week has taken place between 7th – 16th October 2017. During this week, events with the motto “Give a sign of friendship!” should take place simultaneously in all partner countries.
We are still looking for groups, which will realize with creative methods by a mini-project/public event the motto of the week Give a sign of friendship along the Danube. The project/event can be realized by different means, different target groups, different number of participants, but should be on a regional or international and transnational level. It is important to give a sign for a peaceful and solidarity in the Danube-Region and in Europe.
Because of the big interest of participation the campaign Give a sign of friendsip, it will be continued!

„Geschmack der Donau: Brot verbindet“
Veranstaltung einer Donau-Brot-Backwoche im Herbst 2017 in allen Donauländern (Arbeitspaket 5)
Vom 7.-16. Oktober findet eine Donau-Brot-Backwoche in allen Donauländern statt. An diesen Tagen sollen an allen Partner-Orten Events rund um das Brotbacken stattfinden. Eine Medienkampagne auf lokaler, nationaler und internationaler Ebene soll im Vorfeld auf diese Tage hinweisen und zum Mitmachen auffordern und auf die Bedeutung des Brots als wichtiges Kulturgut hinweisen.
Brot wird in diesem Projekt als Grundnahrungsmittel in allen Donauländern gesehen, aber Brot soll nicht nur die Rolle eines Lebensmittels einnehmen, es ist auch das Symbol der Gemeinschaft, des Teilens und der Verantwortung für andere.
Wir suchen Gruppen, die mit kreativen Methoden ein Mini-projekt/eine öffentliche Veranstaltung unter dem Motto der Woche „setze ein Freundschaftszeichen entlang der Donau“ realisieren. Das Projekt/Event kann mit unterschiedlichen Mitteln, Zielgruppen, Anzahl von Teilnehmenden umgesetzt werden, sollte aber auf einem regionalen oder internationalen und transnationalem Level stattfinden. Es ist wichtig, ein friedliches und solidarisches Zeichen in der Donauregion und in Europa zu setzen.
Wegen des großen Interesses an der Aktion „Gib ein Freundschaftszeichen“ wird sie verlängert!
