Institute for Virtual and Face-to-face Learning in the Area of Adult Education at Ulm University (ILEU) e.V.
(registered association) The tasks of the association are the development und testing of innovative methods of adult education emphasizing virtual learning in the context of general continuing academic education. ILEU promotes networking of initatives and projects of virtual and face-to-face learning within this context and supports the transfer and initiation of innovative educational projects in the areas
- dialogue between science and citizens
- dialogue between and within the generations on central social topics
- self-directed learning with the support of the new information and communication technologies
as well as
- opening up new communication technologies for selected target groups.
The association can execute model projects and places its service at disposal for general project consultation and guidance in the above mentioned context. In order to enable adults to cope with new tasks and activities in society, economics and science, the association supports continuing training and qualification and offers consultation in all phases of life. The association offers also services in the area of virtual and real learning.
The association works in close cooperation with ulm University, especially with the Center for General Academic Continuing Education (ZAWIW) of Ulm University.
The association is a non-profit organization.
The association consists of an executive board and board members.
