Research-based travelling – lively exchange
The work of Danube Networkers International focuses on promoting intercultural dialogue in Europe, particularly in the Danube Region, as it is essential for mutual understanding and respect. Older people, but also other generations, need to be supported in integrating their knowledge, skills and competences into new, mostly collective tasks. Danet promotes civil society activities and actions in order to contribute to reducing and/or solving social and economic difficulties.
Danube Networkers international also meet regularly in their respective countries – most recently inCluj-Napoca, Romania. The meetings provide the opportunity to exchange ideas on educational topics and civil society involvement, as well as to get to know local projects, educational institutions, etc. International projects and activities are also jointly organised. Furthermore, exchange takes place via the online platform Vima-danube and the regular come-together sessions. Get as well an impression of the diverse cultural treasures and activities in the Danube countries.
The DANECT project facilitates international meetings online, and the come-together sessions offer a lively cultural exchange between participants about culture, music, poetry and much more.
